Having Students Upload Studio Videos or other Media

Whew! It's been a crazy few weeks! I hope the chaos has settled down for you and the semester has finally settled into a groove. 

One question our team has received in these early weeks is when having students submit an assignment with a video or media upload, the upload in Speedgrader is often not there or showing up as a "null" file. When setting up an assignment like this, it makes sense to select, "media recordings" as that is what you want the student to upload, but actually, you need to select "text entry."

Then, when the student goes to submit their work for the assignment, the student can post a link to their file, whether it be the shared link from their Studio or a file from somewhere else. OR, they can link directly to their Studio by clicking the blue Studio icon and embedding their video directly in their submission.
