Over the next two weeks, we encourage all HCC faculty to participate in the First 10-Day Formative Assessment Challenge to help with the College's SEM Plan goals for faculty.
Everyone who posts on Jamboard and includes their name will be entered into a drawing for a 10-day trip to Hawaii! ***Just kidding, the prize is actually a HCC t-shirt ($25 maximum). As in "They went to Hawaii and only got me this HCC t-shirt." The posting deadline is Thursday, August 26. The Big Winner will be announced at Faculty Best Practices on Friday, August 27. For those new to Jamboard, it is a free, online white board for synchronous or synchronous team collaboration. Instructors have used it in classes as a way for students to reflect on specific aspects of the course and to engage in virtual, real-time discussions. It’s an easy-to-use tool for courses.
