Innovative Classrooms @ HCC

Imagine your typical classroom. Now, imagine that the furniture is movable, the white boards can travel around the room, and students can screencast from their College-provided laptop to a monitor for everyone to see. Imagine how these resources could make the atmosphere interactive and supportive of learning. 

If you are interested in or already use active learning strategies in your class, then you’ll want to see HCC’s newly remodeled Innovative Classrooms: ICB 2301 and ICN 1003.  

Join us on Friday, October 22 from 9am-12pm 

An on-campus seminar that will challenge you to rethink active learning.

Hear from HCC faculty who have been teaching in our new classrooms this semester and guest speakers Kona Jones and Teen Zindel-McWilliams from Richland Community College who will share their college’s experiences using similar learning spaces.
