I'd like to continue our Heartland Take Five Series this week by introducing you to Ms. Krista Tilford, Adjunct Instructor for Physical Therapy. Krista recently completed the Alternative Delivery Course and I reached out to Krista to share her new course design. If you are interested in developing a Hybrid course for Heartland, Krista along with Ms. Stephanie Turner, have developed a tremendous example to share. Here, in this video, Krista shares the highlights and organization structure.
Active learning is a HUGE part of course design and development; keeping students engaged with hands-on activities can be a challenge. The addition of the Case Studies whereas students get the opportunity to solve them AND then design their very own Case Studies is a great way to engage learners. Congratulations, Krista, on a job well done.
