Relinking Studio Videos

With the removal of Canvas Studio in Canvas, you may have noticed that your Studio videos are no longer working. There will be a "sad panda" logo. You will need need to relink these videos from Yuja. You will only need to do this once, and moving forward, if you copy your course over to the next semester, the link to Yuja will hold. Unfortunately, if you are missing a particular video, that video is now gone, as Anna and I are not able to access Canvas Studio on our end either.

To start, go to the page in your course where there is a current Studio video that isn't able to play anymore. You can delete the Studio video.

Then, using the Rich Content Editor (RCE), click the Yuja icon to bring up your video library.

This will cause your Yuja Media to come up. If your video is not new or in a particular folder, you can scroll through the videos you have and then select it.

If you utilize folders to organize your videos, you will not see your folders initially, but if you select the filter button on the left-hand side, you can filter through your folders.

Once you've clicked the filter icon, choose to filter by location (located on the right-side)

Then click user collections.

Then click My Medica Collections.

From there, you can view your folders and select the folder you want to pull the video from.

Once you've selected the video you want, you would then select import content and the video would copy over. You will see it turn the Canvas yellow and that lets you know that the video has been successfully copied over. You would repeat these steps for every video.

As always, if you have questions or concerns, please reach out to Anna or Jewel.
