Pete Pucek joins the Instructional technology team with a wide spectrum of experience and education. Pete holds a Master’s degree from Illinois State University in Communication focusing on Training & Development and Classroom Technology. Pete initially worked in information technology before he was exposed to the world of multimedia and developed a fast-growing passion for the industry. He used his skills in computer design to build non-linear audio and video editing systems, and incorporated computers into live audio and video productions before using computers in live productions was common. Pete can comfortably say he has produced, directed, and/or engineered over 2,000 live events and used computer technology in different ways to contribute to their success. Pete learned in his graduate study, “When we combine IT, multimedia, and teaching online, we come up with Instructional design and technology.” Pete’s interests include augmented reality, virtual reality, project management, the QM Rubric, and using the previously mentioned technologies to create the ultimate positive learning environment for students no matter their specific situation or limitation. Pete can be found spending time with his wife, playing scenario paintball with his team The Irregulars, and training in the martial arts during his free time. |
